Thank you, —Dr. Jason Jared, DC
[TRIFACTIVE®] helped me hit my ultimate goal: to train and successfully finish an Ironman. During my training I developed a calf injury and Dr. Jared and his staff helped me continue moving towards my goals. They worked with me weekly on getting things better and taking care of the mass amounts of stress I was putting onto my body. Their team is great and more than just a Chiropractor's office. The entire team is working for you to get back on your feet and keep your goals attainable. Thanks, [TRIFACTIVE]!Chris Bassler - Northbrook, IL, Ironman triathlete
I came here after a long-ignored running hip injury. Dr.J is as good as it gets. He is patient and the treatment is very effective. I am now done with my treatment and painfree. If you are a runner, you'd definitely like to go to a doctor that has been treating runners for a while and understands the stress running puts you through. Dr. Jared understands all that. You can trust him with your aches and pains and he'll make sure you feel as comfortable as possible during all treatments no matter how painful. Along with Dr. J, the staff at the clinic is friendly and easy to talk to.... The team on the whole is extremely patient and will help you through all your questions and will advice you on additional good practices and routines without ever sounding imposing. No sketchy business as I've heard about a lot of chiropractic services. Every one here is extremely professional. I recommend this clinic with 100% confidence that you will not be disappointed.Poonam K. - Chicago, IL, runner
Dr. Jared's team has helped me through SEVERAL physical maladies over the years. I have scoliosis, played Roller Derby, do Crossfit and have had THREE children. I have found compassion, comprehensive care and a great atmosphere at every step of the way. What I most appreciate is what they now call the "TRIFACTIVE" approach—chiropractic adjustments, physical therapy and massage therapy. Each aspect is crucial and has helped me through problems such as: back spasms, TMJ pain after tooth extraction, pelvic floor and abdominal weakness from pregnancy, shoulder tightness from Olympic weight-lifting and probably a half-dozen other smaller issues. They have helped me in ways Physical Therapy and specialized personal training didn't touch. The staff there seem to have a depth of understanding of my life that I'm constantly surprised by. Scott, the physical therapist/happy dude/exercise teacher, seems to understand the mechanics of all the Olympic lifts and nerdy-Crossfit lingo I throw at him. And Anne, the massage therapist, has released tightness in my body from years of child-bearing/rearing that I didn't even know existed. They're like angel-guru-ninjas. But honestly, the best part is that I love being in their office. It feels like walking into the bar of Cheers, where everyone knows your name, gets your stupid jokes and is clearly happy to be working there. I kinda want to hang out more often just to be around them.Holly B. - Chicago, IL, fitness enthusiast
I cannot recommend TRIFACTIVE® enough. If I could give them 10 stars, I would. I worked primarily with Dr. Jared and Scott—they are miracle workers. However, this entire team is fantastic. I went in for some pain behind my knees that I'd had for some time training for an Ironman. TRFIACTIVE’s® treatment system is crazy good. Not only did they treat my initial reason for going in, they also treated my lower back, too—I have 2 collapsed discs in my lower back. The back pain issue had been there for years, but it wasn't a priority for me to treat since I figured it was something I had to just deal with for life. With the treatment to solve my knee issues, my back issues were getting resolved, too. For the first time in years, I can say that there are days that I actually have no pain in my back at all. I have been shown tons of exercises to help myself when I can't be seen by them. They have made a tremendous change to my well-being. While AND since being treated by them, I have been able to swim, bike and run faster than I thought was ever possible. Not only that though, my recoveries have been faster and soreness lessened due to what they taught me to do pre-race and post-race. This isn't a place where you just get adjusted and sent on your merry way. They will explain to you exactly what is going on with your body, what needs to be done to make you feel better, why you are going to do certain exercises, and teach you what to do so that you can prevent future injuries. I almost cried when I "graduated" from my treatments. I feel so lucky to have found such an incredible team of healers.Maysumi Y. - Hoffman Estates, IL, Ironman triathlete
I started seeing Dr. J a few years back for lower back pain associated with old tennis injuries and then with the rehab of a broken ankle. His practice is like no other. The combination of massage therapy, chiropractic care and physical therapy helped me get back into shape and feel my best. The staff at [TRFIACTIVE®] is outstanding and well worth a visit. ...Highly recommend, like no otherAdam L. - Northbrook, IL, tennis player & fitness enthusiast
I had just ran the Chicago Rock 'n Roll half marathon and did something to my hip. I was just barely limping my way around. I finally felt desperate enough to go in and ask for help. Dr. J talked about how I'd be ready for my next race and I have to confess I rolled my eyes a bit. I was seriously skeptical, but Dr. J just asked me to set a goal. So I did. It is now 2 months later and I am pain free, both in my hip and my back. In the meanwhile, I ran a half marathon with zero pain problems, which is the first in 6 half marathons where I could say that. I have a vivid memory of every step I took during the race feeling just right, balanced and controlled. I felt great so I had a great race. The combination of therapies— adjustment, strengthening and massage—worked! I've been feeling taller, stronger, balanced. I am a skeptic no longer. I'm now an advocate. Thanks, [TRIFACTIVE®]!Mana I. – Chicago, IL, runner
I am a triathlete and Dr. Jared was recommended to me by my coach. I have had (sometimes excruciating) shoulder pain on and off for years. It was beginning to really affect my swimming, and sometimes just reaching for something would be painful. I finally decided to seek help after running the Chicago Marathon. I just felt completely wrecked. Dr. Jared helped ease not only the temporary race-related pain, but the pinched nerve in my shoulder, my misaligned neck, and subluxation in my back. I had lots of problems. 🙂 I feel 100% better now and haven't had that recurring shoulder pain at all. I will be back in a few months to keep my neck and spine in good shape in preparation for Ironman Wisconsin.... Everyone at [TRIFCATIVE®] deserves credit for providing a great experience in a very important aspect of overall health. Dr. Jared, his massage therapist, and his assistant are all very respectful, easy to talk to, and professional. I recommend them to everyone!Amy B. - Chicago, IL, triathlete
After having chronic back pain for 10 years, resulting in additional discomfort in my hips and legs, I was blessed to find TRIFACTIVE® 12 months ago. The methods they use are unlike anyone I have worked with in the industry (and I have been to many!). In only a few short weeks I became pain free, and have remained pain free for the duration of this year. The staff is extremely professional, and I highly recommend Dr. J and staff to anyone with pain, regardless of where they have it in their body. I have referred many to this clinic, and all would testify in the same manner. Thank you, TRIFACTIVE® team!Joel A. - Chicago, IL, back pain sufferer
I love to run, but since high school I have been haunted by knee and IT-band pain. Every half marathon I ran would sideline me for a month afterward. I don't know how this made me think it'd be ok to run a full marathon, but I wanted to give it a shot. Knowing that foam rolling would not enough to get me through the training cycle this time, I finally decided to look for professional advice. I came to Dr. J and his staff based on Yelp reviews, and by 3 sessions in (he put me on a 4-week, 12-session program: "What? You mean I'm not committed to coming to PT 2x a week until some vague date far into the future??"), it felt like a weight was lifted off my shoulders. I got the intense rehab I came for, but they also gave me education and exercises to do, and it has made me feel like I am in complete control of my health. Is it weird that I even looked forward these hurt-so-bad/good sessions, because Dr. J, Agnes, Scott, Dr. Marr, and the rest of the staff are so enjoyable to hang out with? Probably, but I'm just so, so pumped with the results. Last weekend I ran 12 miles, this past one I ran 15, and I'm excited to do 16 this weekend. I would have never been able to get this crazy marathon training done pain-free without the realignment, stretching, and strengthening that TRIFACTIVE® has provided.Alex K., - Chicago, IL, runner
I truly wish after my car accident in April of 2012, I knew about Dr. J and his crew at TRIFACTIVE®. If I had, I probably would not have had the issues I had when I went to TRIFACTIVE®. I have been to two other chiropractors and a different organization for physical therapy over the past several years and none of them have helped me like the folks at TRFIACTIVE®. The staff at TRFIACTIVE® are the most caring and skillful group I have met. I really appreciated Dr. J taking the time to evaluate my condition by examining me and actually listening to my issues. While I felt the treatment plan he setup was a little pricey, I felt it was worth it if it made me pain free and I would never know unless I tried it. The treatment is not your usual chiropractic method, but Dr. J was spot-on regarding what needed to be done to make my pain go away. By having me see him and Dr. Marr; Kimberly, the awesome massage therapist; and Scott, the physical therapist, to provide different treatments, I can say I am pain free and in a much better place today. Zacharias also helped me when I needed a re-evaluation and Agnes is the best Practice Manager I have come across ever. Kimberly's massages are by far the best there is. She always asks what's going on and wants to truly know, so she can perform the most therapeutic treatment for the issue. I always look forward to a massage with her and feel 100 times better when I leave.Stephanie B. - Chicago, IL, car accident
I've been seeing Dr. J for almost a month to treat a chronic shoulder injury. I'm in the middle of triathlon training, and while it's not the ideal time to get rehabbed, I don't want my injury to get any worse. This is a full service facility, with your treatment being tailored to include personalized stretching, electrical muscle stimulation, chiropractic adjustments, and massage. The entire staff at [TRIFACTIVE®] is incredibly friendly and professional, and I appreciate not having to pay at each individual visit. (They will set up a payment plan to suit your needs). At [TRIFACTIVE®] I've been making more progress toward correcting the root issues of my shoulder pain than anything I've done in the past two years. That includes physical therapy, visiting another chiropractor (who helped me through the pain and then said "come back if it flares up again"), massage, and acupuncture. I do have to say that the one thing that has helped of those has been acupuncture, but I recognize that acupuncture will not correct long term musculoskeletal imbalances. It does a great job at pain relief and relieving muscle tension. I look forward to the next few weeks as we see how to strengthen my shoulder and prevent further pain from occurring while I'm in long course triathlon training.Lauren G. -Chicago, IL - triathlete
